This became the project that made SodaStream's PepsiCo flavor launches actually work — not just designed, but shepherded end to end: packaging, digital, POS, TVC, bottle accessories, the works. The work wasn't just execution, it was teaching — building real design fluency inside the SST team and across stakeholders in Dublin, New York, and half a dozen markets, so the capability stuck around long after any single launch wrapped.
The results speak for themselves. The 2020 PEPSI flavor rollout across the Nordics, France, Germany, and Australia — built on a flavor portfolio strategy developed for the launch — closed the year at roughly $50MM in net revenue, $20MM ahead of plan, with Pepsi flavors climbing to 30–35% of SST's total volume. Then came Bubly Drops: an entire 360° brand system built from the ground up — identity, packaging, playbook — to launch it in the US and Canada, with creative stewardship carried through every TVC spot, influencer kit, and trade show asset that followed.
The metal can transition was another turning point — steering SodaStream through what could've been a branding mess across two portfolios (SodaStream's own flavors and PepsiCo's) into something coherent. And when things got fast and scrappy, the work delivered — the UEFA LTO bottle came together on a timeline tight enough to get written up internally, alongside a partnership with the Pangeaseed Foundation on an artist-led bottle line supporting ocean conservation, plus an extension of the flavor strategy into lifestyle territory with Pepsi Max and 7Up branded bottles and sleeves.
On top of all that, this work shaped SodaStream's sustainability push — on-pack messaging, contributions to PepsiCoRecycle.com, and visual direction for the "Beyond the Bottle" initiative.
